Inform all your doctors or dentists that you take Rivaroxaban. This medication can cause bleeding. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or if you plan to become pregnant. This medication should only be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Asprin can increase the risk of bleeding when it is used with medication. If you are taking a low dose of Asprin for heart attack or stroke prevention, you should continue taking it unless your doctor tells you to stop. There may be a drug interaction between Xarelto and other medications such as amiodarone, apixaban, atorvastatin, carvedilol, clopidogrel, cyclosporine, diltiazem, imatinib, quinine, rifampin, etc. Xarelto dose 15mg and above should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.
Xarelto Safety and Storage Information
Xarelto should be stored at room temperature away from light and moisture and out of reach of children and pets. This medication should not be stored in the bathroom.
