Formoterol belongs to the class of drugs called long-acting beta agonists; it works by opening the airways in the lungs to make it easier for you to breathe. Symbicort Turbuhaler should be used on a regular basis to be effective. Symbicort 200, can also be used in patients with mild persistent asthma on as needed basis for relief of asthma symptoms when they occur. However, Symbicort should not be used as a quick reliever in COPD patients. Ask your doctor for specific instructions on how to use your Symbicort.

What are the Possible Side Effects of Symbicort Turbuhaler?


The common side effects may include headache, throat irritation and upset stomach. This medication may raise your blood pressure. The serious side effects may include:
