It works by helping to restore the balance of dopamine in the brain. Mirapex ER improves your ability to move and can decrease shakiness, stiffness, slowed movement and unsteadiness. The common side effects may include constipation, cough, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, lightheadedness, nausea, trouble sleeping and vomiting. The serious side effects may include:

Depakote ER tablet residue resembling a swollen whole or partial tablet may be visible in the stool after taking the ER formulation. Some patients reported a worsening of their Parkinson disease symptoms when tablet residue was observed.
