The medication Lysodren belongs to a class of medications known as antitumoral medicines. It is used to treat the symptoms of advanced, non-operable, metastatic or recurrent malignant tumors of the adrenal gland. Lysodren modifies the peripheral metabolism of steroids and also directly suppresses the adrenal gland.

What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Lysodren?


Common side effects of Lysodren include vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, bloating, pain in the belly, loss of appetite, abnormal sensations such as pins and needles, movement and coordination disorders, vertigo, confusion, sleepiness, tiredness, muscle weakness, inflammation of mucosa, skin rash, blood disorders such as prolonged bleeding time, increased cholesterol, triglyceride and liver enzyme levels in blood, decreased white blood cells, breast overdevelopment in men, adrenal insufficiency, dizziness, peripheral nervous system disorders (association of sensory disorders, muscular weakness and atrophy, decrease of tendon reflex and vasomotor symptoms such as hot flushes, sweat and sleep disorders), mental impairment, loss of memory, difficulty concentrating, movement disorder, decreased red blood cells leading to anemia, decrease in number of blood platelets (making you prone to bleeding and bruising), difficulty in coordinating muscles, liver damage with yellowing of skin, eyes, itching, nausea, diarrhea, tiredness, dark colored urine.
