What is Inhibace used for?


Inhibace (Cilazapril) is a prescription medication that is used to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. Cilazapril belongs to the family of medications known as angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels and making the heart pump more efficiently. Inhibace may be used alone or in combination with diuretics such as hydrochlorothiazide to control blood pressure.

The common side effects may include cough, diarrhea dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, runny or stuffed-up nose, unusual tiredness, voming and weakness. The serious side effects may include:
