Imbruvica (Ibrutinib) is a prescription cancer medication that stops the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Ibrutinib belongs to a class of drugs known as kinase inhibitors. Imbruvica treats certain types of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, including mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma(SLL) in people with or without 17p deletion. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.

The common side effects may include chills, diarrhea, fever, flu symptoms, muscle pain or bone pain, nausea, rash and tired feeling. The serious side effects may include:
