Cortiment ER (Budesonide ER Tablet) is a prescription medicine used to treat ulcerative colitis in adults. This condition is an inflammation of the colon and rectum. The drug is also used in adults to treat acute episodes of microscopic colitis – a disease with chronic inflammation of the colon present with chronic watery diarrhea.
