Calcort is a steroid medication use for different conditions including serious illnesses. Corticosteroids occur naturally in the body to maintain health. Adults may take 1/2-3 tablets each day for arthritis, 8-12 tablets for severe asthma, and some may require 20 tablets each day for several days. For children, dosage will be the lowest possible based on age and weight of the child.
