Meet Dr. Bolanle Aina – Our Canadian Pharmacist Content Editor

Dr. Bolanle Aina is a licenced pharmacist registered with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba with more than 10 years of experience that span through academia, industry, research and retail pharmacy. She earned her Master of Science degree (M.Sc. Pharmacy) from the College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba. She also holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D. Pharmacy) from the same institution where she specialized in Cardiovascular diseases, specifically Cardiac Hypertrophy and Heart Failure. She was a recipient of several academic prizes and awards during her graduate studies including the Pfizer Canada Inc. Centennial Pharmacy Research Award and the JG Fletcher Ph.D. Fellowship in Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals. Findings of her studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented in national conferences. Bolanle is passionate about medical communications and health promotion. At CPW, she reviews drug information for correctness and creates educational articles on optimal drug use.

Meet Dr. Tolulope Olabintan – Our Canadian Pharmacy Ambassador

Dr. "O”, as she is fondly called by her patients, is the Board-Certified Physician Founder of Livingspring Family Medical Center. She is a life-enthusiast, a Christian, mom, and wife who enjoys good cuisine and can’t get enough of the colors teal and orange. Tolulope Olabintan, MD FAAFP AAHIVS is a Family Physician who envisioned a center where sincere care meets wholesome care.

Livingspring was coined from the bible describing God as “The Living Spring” and the ultimate source of true healing. In the place of service, Dr. Olabintan believes she is a conduit of such healing in an atmosphere of compassion, committed care, and with her sound medical knowledge.

Dr. Olabintan completed her medical degree at UMDNJ Rutgers Medical School in 2007. Dr. O went on to finish her Family Medicine Residency from Albert Einstein College of Medicine Family Medicine residency where she also served as a Chief Resident. She then went on to complete a women’s health/surgical obstetrics fellowship at St Francis hospital in 2011. She is a board-certified Family Physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also a certified HIV specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Olabintan has over 13 years of medical experience and looks forward to serving you.

Meet Pharmacist Carol Hou - Our Pharmacy Manager

It is with great pleasure that we introduce our Pharmacy Manager – Carol Hou.

Carol graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2004 with a B.Sc.(Pharm) degree. Since then, she has been actively practicing in the province of British Columbia working with Loblaws before joining us.

She is passionate about educating patients on the many options of affordable drugs, especially the medications that use large amounts of your savings.
